Chile (Capsicum annuum L.) is a culinary spice from the Solanaceae family,1 originating in the region(s) of Central America.2 It is used for its fruit, primarily for flavors; analgesic. Its aroma is described as pungent, fiery, with a heat index of 4-10.3
